When you first arrive at your dialysis center, you will be introduced to your care team and given a tour of the unit. This will be a good time to ask questions of the care team. You will receive an easy to understand orientation guide entitled “Important Information for People on Dialysis.” It will include what you need to know about dialysis, such as, your treatment options and other useful information. You will also receive other items as part of your welcome to the unit.
