There are many patients who “fall between the cracks” when it comes to getting financial assistance for prescription coverage.  The patient may not qualify for limited community resources or they just have to make the decision to meet other basic needs and forgo their medication. In either instance, the Dialysis Prescription Assistance Program is available to help patients that qualify. This fund is supported by the annual Community Giving Campaign. The unit social worker can help with this process to see if this program is available for you.
