There are many patients who “fall between the cracks” when it comes to getting financial assistance for prescription coverage. The patient may not qualify for limited community resources or they just have to make the decision to meet other basic needs and forgo their medication. In either instance, the Dialysis Prescription Assistance Program is available to help qualifying patients. The Dialysis Patient Prescription Assistance Fund is designed to assist Greenfield dialysis patients, who have neither resources nor prescription coverage available. This program allows patients to obtain emergency medications, through system pharmacies, until other programs are accessed. This fund is supported by the annual Community Giving Campaign. The unit social worker can help with this process.
