Program Objectives
- Discuss a culture of safety, how it impacts patient care and communication techniques that support safety in the nephrology care setting.
- Identify strategies for end of life discussions with patients with chronic kidney disease
- Define the impact that pay for value has on safety net provider
- Understand the best practice of fluid management in the dialysis patient
- State the consequences of progressive deterioration in mineral homeostatis in the CKD population
- Have increased understanding of patient/care partner experience with renal failure.
